Online tutoring has some advantages over in-person tutoring. Often you can schedule an online session with little or no notice. So you can get help right when you need it. Also, we don’t have to decide where to meet, or how to get there. A tutor is always as close as your computer.
How does it work?
You’ll see a virtual whiteboard, where I can show you concepts, and you can work practice problems. We both write on the same page. So I can see if you’re making any mistakes, and correct them as they’re happening.
You’ll need something to write problems on, like a tablet, laptop with a touchscreen, or graphics tablet. If you don’t have any of those, I’ll send you a graphics tablet – in exchange for a deposit. Then, at the end of the semester, you can return it and get your deposit back.
